Falkin Shield — Privacy Policy

Summary
Falkin Shield helps protect you from scams while collecting as little about you as possible. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number, we do not track you, we show no ads, and we never sell your data.
Information we process
- Invite code. You enter a single-use code once to activate the app. It is not linked to your identity.
- Anonymous device identifier. When you activate the app, an anonymous identifier is created so we can keep your access secure and revoke it if necessary. It is not connected to your name, email, or phone number.
- Links and content you check. When you ask the app to check something, what you submit is sent to our servers to return a result. It is processed anonymously, is not stored, and is not linked to you.
- Diagnostics. Anonymous error and performance data that helps us keep the app reliable. This never includes the content you check or any personal information.
- Network information. Standard information such as your IP address is processed when the app contacts our servers to return a response, and is not used to track you.
What we do not collect
Name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any advertising identifier. The app contains no advertising or third-party tracking.
How we use information
Only to provide the scam-checking service, keep your access secure, and keep the app reliable. Never for advertising or marketing.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We rely on a small number of service providers (such as cloud hosting and an app-diagnostics provider) that process data solely to provide their service to us.
Retention and your choices
You can remove your data at any time using "Delete my account" in the app, which deletes your access from your device. The content you check is processed anonymously and is not stored. For any other request, contact support@falkin.com.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption to protect information in transit and the credentials stored on your device.
Children
Falkin Shield is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version at this URL with a new effective date.
